Home Made Baklava The Way We Like It

Originating from the Eastern Mediterranean, baklava has been baked in our family for generations. Almost all baklava that is available to consumers is industrially/commercially produced, with many shortcuts in the production in order to reduce costs. This includes baklava that you might find at stores, markets, and local events like food festivals. 

We started home-baking baklava for local events and some local stores around 2022, using my grandmother's recipe. Baking baklava is a labor intensive process, especially if the aim is to produce a quality result. We do it because we love what we do, and because it is difficult to find quality baklava in our market.  

Our aim is to prepare baklava using original ingredients. To that end we process and prepare the walnuts, pistachois, butter, and syrup in-house, using artisanal methods. The benefits are better flavor, texture and the baklava is made from real - non industrial ingredients.
